Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Hassan Sardar Niazi has ordered strict security protocols to ensure foolproof safety during Muharram processions and gatherings across the district.

A large number of police personnel have been deployed along procession routes and gathering points, with officers remaining on high alert and fully prepared for duty.

The security force includes lady police, intelligence units, the bomb disposal squad, and the Quick Response Force (QRF), all assigned to safeguard participants and prevent any security threats.

Stringent checking has been enforced at all entry and exit points of processions, with enhanced surveillance of suspicious individuals to avert any potential incidents.

Senior police officials are conducting field visits to monitor security arrangements, assess staff presence and readiness, and ensure all plans are effectively in place to uphold peace and order during Muharram.
