Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to visit Pakistan next week
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is scheduled to undertake an important visit to Pakistan next week, with key meetings lined up for Tuesday, diplomatic sources confirmed.
During the visit, Fidan will meet Pakistan’s top leadership to discuss a wide range of bilateral issues, particularly in light of heightened Pakistan-India tensions.
The sources said the agenda includes defence cooperation and strategic diplomatic engagement.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to hold formal talks with the Turkish foreign minister, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in multiple sectors.
According to the sources, Pakistan’s leadership is likely to express appreciation for Turkey’s continued support and proposed areas of collaboration.
