Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday ordered the deployment of Frontier Corps (FC) personnel for the security of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, following heightened security concerns.

According to sources, FC One security has been assigned to guard the JUI-F leader’s residence in Dera Ismail Khan.

The move comes after Prime Minister Shehbaz directed authorities to ensure security arrangements at Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s home.

The decision was swiftly implemented, and FC personnel have now been deployed at the premises to bolster security for the senior political leader.
