Another earthquake jolts Balochistan
Tremors were felt in Zhob and surrounding areas of Balochistan on Monday morning, triggering panic among residents who rushed out of their homes.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter scale. The tremors originated at a depth of 20 kilometres, with the epicentre located 40 kilometres southwest of Zhob.
No loss of life or property was reported in the aftermath of the earthquake.
Authorities have issued an alert to monitor the situation, while rescue teams have also been put on standby.
On Sunday, heavy tremors were felt in the Muskhel district of Balochistan, which shattered over two dozen houses.
Elsewhere in Barkhan district, tremors were also felt in Rakhni, Chappar, Mehama, Samand Khan, and Rarkan, spreading further fear among the population.
