Malala Yousafzai set to release new memoir in October
Nobel Prize winner and renowned education activist Malala Yousafzai has revealed that her new memoir, “Finding My Way,” will be released on October 21.
In an Instagram post, Yousafzai revealed her book poster and called the memoir her “most personal” work to date.
“At 15 years old, the world knew my name, but no one really knew me,” she wrote.
“Finding My Way is the most personal thing I’ve ever written — a messy, honest, and sometimes painfully funny memoir.”
“It’s a story of friendship and first love, of mental health and self-discovery, of trying to stay true to yourself when everyone wants to tell you who you are. This is not the story you think you know. It’s the one I’ve been waiting to tell.”
According to an exclusive preview by Stylist UK, “Finding My Way” offers a deeper, more intimate perspective on Malala Yousafzai’s life, moving past her public image to reveal her journey as a young woman exploring her identity, personal relationships, and the process of healing.
Since surviving a Taliban attack, Yousafzai has built an influential global presence.
Over the years, she has authored multiple books, established the Malala Fund to advocate for girls’ education worldwide, and produced award-winning films.
In 2020, she graduated from Oxford University, and more recently, co-founded the Recess Fund with her husband Asser Malik to promote gender equity in sports.
