The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially launched the mandatory registration process for Hajj 2026, set to continue until July 9. This year, all individuals wishing to perform Hajj must register in advance.

The ministry announced that the registration process will be the same for both government and private Hajj schemes, with registration also required for Pakistanis living abroad.

Only those who complete their registration within the specified timeframe will be eligible for Hajj 2026.

Importantly, there is no registration fee involved. The process can be completed at 15 approved banks across the country.

After registration, pilgrims can choose their preferred government or private Hajj scheme.

Furthermore, individuals who were unable to go on Hajj under the private scheme in 2025 must also register this time.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that details regarding expenses, facilities, and other terms for Hajj 2026 will be disclosed in the upcoming Hajj policy.

This registration process aligns with the directives from the Saudi Government, requiring the Pakistani government to provide data to determine Pakistan’s Hajj quota for 2026.
