Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has fully restored its flight operations to Gulf countries and Saudi Arabia following the recent ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

The national flag carrier had temporarily suspended flights to several key destinations due to regional tensions but has now resumed services as the situation stabilizes.

A PIA spokesperson confirmed that all international flights are now operating according to schedule. Passengers have been advised to check with PIA inquiry offices for updated flight details.

Operations to major cities including Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Madinah, and Jeddah were earlier suspended amid rising conflict in the Middle East. However, with hostilities subsiding, PIA has gradually reinstated its services.

Several delayed flights have now taken off, including PK-245 from Islamabad to Dammam, which departed at 12:30pm after a 15-hour delay, and PK-743 from Karachi to Madinah, which took off at 1:00pm following a 14.5-hour delay. Lahore’s PK-713 to Madinah also departed at 1:00pm after a 7-hour delay.

Flight PK-209 from Sialkot to Sharjah departed after a 15-hour delay, while PK-221 from Multan to Dubai and PK-251 from Sialkot to Doha also resumed service.

Meanwhile, PK-761 from Karachi to Jeddah and PK-261 from Islamabad to Abu Dhabi operated on time, indicating a return to normalcy.

The resumption of flights marks a significant step toward restoring full-scale international operations, as regional tensions ease in the wake of the ceasefire.
