The Met Office has forecast continued hot and humid weather across most parts of the country over the next 24 hours, though some regions may experience rainfall and strong winds, offering brief relief from the intense heat.

Rain and gusty winds are expected in Islamabad, while thunderstorms are likely in Murree, Galiyat, and Rawalpindi, potentially bringing some comfort to residents amid the prevailing heatwave.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, weather conditions are expected to remain hot and humid overall, but rain is likely in Dir, Swat, Haripur, and Abbottabad.

Sindh and Punjab will continue to face intense heat and humidity, with authorities urging residents to take preventive measures to avoid heat-related health issues.

Balochistan is also expected to remain hot, with dusty winds forecast that could impact air quality in the region.

Meanwhile, rainfall is predicted in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, with chances of heavy downpours in some areas.

The Met Office has advised the public to avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun during peak heat hours and to stay well-hydrated as a precaution against the extreme weather conditions.
