Three others were rescued alive by local residents and have been shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The incident occurred in the scenic region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat district, a popular destination for domestic tourism.
The boat, reportedly carrying multiple tourists, overturned suddenly, leading to the deadly accident.
Local rescue teams, with the help of volunteers, are continuing the search operation to locate the three missing tourists.
However, challenging terrain and the remoteness of the area are reportedly hindering the pace of the operation.
