Dar, Uzbek foreign minister discuss regional cooperation ahead of OIC meeting

Both discuss broad range of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation on Thursday with Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov.

During the call, the two leaders discussed a broad range of bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.

They also reviewed the agenda for the upcoming session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers, set to be held in Istanbul from July 21 to 22.

Both sides agreed to hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the OIC gathering.
