I will only work with Tom Cruise again If stunts stay on the ground: Brad Pitt
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt has playfully ruled out sharing the screen with Tom Cruise again — unless the stunts stay on the ground instead of in the sky.
In a recent interview while promoting his upcoming Formula One racing film, Pitt quipped that he’s not ready to dangle from planes or perform other high-risk stunts typically associated with Cruise.
“I’m not doing a scene hanging off a plane with Tom Cruise,” Pitt laughed, adding that he’d consider working with Cruise again only if the project involves earth-bound action.
Known for his daring stunts in the Mission: Impossible franchise — including skydiving, helicopter piloting, and scaling skyscrapers — Cruise’s fearless approach has become his trademark.
Pitt, however, prefers a different pace.
The two iconic actors last appeared together in the 1994 cult classic Interview with the Vampire, where their on-screen tension was matched by playful off-screen rivalry.
Pitt recalled their go-kart racing competition during shooting, admitting, “He beat me in the end — I had to accept defeat.”
Despite their competitive antics, there’s mutual respect. Cruise once praised Pitt’s driving skills at a Paramount event, reflecting a professional camaraderie that has endured over the years.
Pitt also shared quirky details about his role in the upcoming F1 film, revealing pre-race rituals such as always entering the car from the left side and donning his left shoe and glove first.
Set to release in theaters on June 27, F1 stars Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and others.
Pitt thanked his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, for introducing him to the world of Formula One. “She’s European — she got me hooked on the sport.”
