Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a notable decrease on Monday, with the per tola rate falling by Rs1,000, bringing the new price to Rs361,300.

The price of 10-gram gold also dropped by Rs857, settling at Rs309,756.

This decline aligns with a broader global trend, where gold prices have seen a substantial drop.

In the international market, the price of gold fell by $16, reaching $3,398 per ounce.

According to investors, the continued decline in the international market is the primary reason behind the local price reduction.

It’s worth noting that just a day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan had dipped by Rs700, lowering the per tola rate to Rs362,300.
