Gold prices drop by Rs1,000 per tola, reach Rs361,300
Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a notable decrease on Monday, with the per tola rate falling by Rs1,000, bringing the new price to Rs361,300.
The price of 10-gram gold also dropped by Rs857, settling at Rs309,756.
This decline aligns with a broader global trend, where gold prices have seen a substantial drop.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $16, reaching $3,398 per ounce.
According to investors, the continued decline in the international market is the primary reason behind the local price reduction.
It’s worth noting that just a day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan had dipped by Rs700, lowering the per tola rate to Rs362,300.
