The Balochistan government will present the provincial budget for the FY-2025-26 on June 17, says a government official.

Speaking at a press conference in Quetta on Saturday, Balochistan Government spokesperson Shahid Rind said the new budget will prioritise employment opportunities and public welfare.

According to Rind, the government is actively consulting opposition members in the budget preparation process to ensure a balanced and inclusive financial plan.

He stated that providing relief to the people remains the government’s top priority.

During the press conference, Rind also announced the launch of a new “People’s Train Service,” aimed at offering better and more affordable transport facilities to the people of Balochistan.

Addressing the issue of terrorism, the spokesperson noted that due to the unique challenges faced by the province, the government is often compelled to make extraordinary decisions.

He added that the present government is committed to serving the public as its core mission and is making every effort to find long-term solutions to the province’s pressing issues.
