PM Shehbaz in Abu Dhabi on daylong UAE visit
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday arrived in Abu Dhabi on a day-long official visit to the United Arab Emirates on the invitation of UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
At Abu Dhabi’s Al Bateen Airport, he was warmly received by Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, brother of the UAE President and National Security Adviser, who also accompanied him to the Presidential Palace.
Secretary-General of the UAE Supreme National Security Council Ali Ahmed Al Shamsi, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, and Pakistani diplomatic staff were also present at the airport to receive the prime minister.
The prime minister, along with his delegation, will hold a meeting with the UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Pakistani delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and Special Assistant to PM Tariq Fatemi.
