Return flight operation for Hajj pilgrims begins
The operation for the return of Hajj pilgrims has officially begun, marked by the arrival of the first flight, PK-732 of Pakistan International Airlines, at Islamabad International Airport at 3:12am. This flight returned 340 pilgrims from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Islamabad Airport Manager Aftab Gilani reported that the returning pilgrims were warmly welcomed.
Among those present were Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, the Additional Director of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the Director of Hajj, and senior airport officials.
Gilani announced that the post-Hajj operation will continue until July 10, during which over 30,000 pilgrims are expected to return to Islamabad.
Additionally, return flights from Madinah are scheduled to commence in about a week.

He further emphasized that all necessary arrangements have been made at Islamabad International Airport to ensure that pilgrims receive comfortable, dignified, and efficient services upon their return.
