The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, did not participate in the Eid ul-Adha prayers at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail due to security concerns.

According to jail officials, two separate Eid prayer congregations were held within the prison one at the central mosque and the other at the Imambargah.

Sources confirmed that Imran Khan had been informed in advance about the prayer schedule.

However, during the designated time, he was reportedly resting in his cell and chose not to attend the gatherings, claimed the security sources.

Also, this year, Khan was unable to participate in Eid ul-Fitr prayers due to security concerns on March 31.
