Pakistan’s security forces carried out a major intelligence-based operation on June 2 and 3 in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, targeting terrorists from the Indian proxy groups, also known as “Fitna-tul-Khawarij.”

According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was launched following credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants linked to the Indian sponsored outfit.

Security forces successfully neutralized a key hideout of the group, resulting in the killing of 14 terrorists after a fierce exchange of gunfire.

Clearance and sanitization efforts are ongoing in the area to ensure the complete elimination of any remaining foreign-backed operatives.

A Pakistan Army spokesperson reaffirmed the military’s resolve to uproot all elements of terrorism backed by hostile foreign entities.
