Suspect arrested in TikToker Sana Yousaf murder case
Police have arrested a suspect in the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousuf, who was killed in her Islamabad house on Monday.
According to sources, the suspect was caught last night in Faisalabad after police identified him using CCTV footage.
Authorities revealed that the suspect had a personal relationship with the victim.
Yousuf’s mother filed a murder case at the Sumbal police station in Islamabad.
The First Information Report (FIR) stated that the suspect entered the house around 5pm, shot Sana twice in the chest, and then fled the scene.
Police recovered the murder weapon from the suspect during the arrest.
Investigators are continuing to interrogate him and intend to share further details about the case shortly.
Yousuf from Upper Chitral, was shot dead at her residence in Islamabad’s G-13/1 sector on Monday.
According to police reports, unidentified assailants forcibly entered Yousuf’s home within the Sumbal police jurisdiction and opened fire, resulting in her immediate death.
The attackers fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.
