PCB nullifies elections of zonal, regional cricket associations in Islamabad

Instructs all dismissed officials to vacate their offices immediately

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has nullified the elections of all zonal and regional cricket associations in Islamabad.

The PCB made this decision based on allegations of irregularities and complaints.

The Islamabad Regional Cricket Association President, Shakil Sheikh, has been dismissed from his position, along with all officials from the zonal and regional cricket associations in Islamabad.

Also, the PCB has instructed all dismissed officials to vacate their offices immediately and ensure the swift implementation of the board’s decision.

A PCB spokesperson announced that the recent election of the Islamabad Regional Cricket Association is also void, and the board will formulate a new strategy for conducting transparent elections from the ground up.

Sources revealed that the board received multiple complaints, including accusations of irregularities in the electoral process and nepotism.
