Heatwave continues in Karachi with high humidity
Karachi is experiencing a persistent heat wave, with weather conditions expected to remain hot and humid. The Met Office forecasted temperatures to reach 39 degrees Celsius today.
According to officials, the high humidity levels may cause the heat index to feel as high as 49 degrees, while the current temperature stands at 36 degrees Celsius, feeling like 38 degrees.
Winds are blowing from the west at 14 kilometers per hour, with humidity levels recorded at less than 34 percent.
Experts are urging citizens to limit outdoor activities during the day, particularly between 11am and 3pm.
