Pakistan express derails between Mubarakpur and Kalanchwala

A Pakistan Express train en route from Karachi to Rawalpindi encountered an accident between Mubarakpur and Kalanchwala, resulting in two train coaches, the dining car’s trolley, and a tire derailing.

Fortunately, railway officials confirmed, all passengers are safe, with no reported casualties.

In light of the incident, operations for other passenger trains have been temporarily suspended at various stations.

A railway spokesperson reported that a relief operation is currently underway at the site, and affected passengers have been successfully transferred from the dining car to the front coaches.
