Hot weather to persist nationwide, temperatures set to rise further

The Met Office announced that hot weather will prevail in most areas today, with temperatures anticipated to rise further during the daytime.

Islamabad is expected to experience warm weather, with a temperature increase of 5 to 7 degrees Celsius projected from today until June 5.

Hot winds are predicted for southern Punjab and the plains of Sindh, with gusty winds possible in certain regions. Severe heat is expected to affect Sindh and Balochistan.

Temperature forecasts indicate Nawabshah may reach 47 degrees Celsius, followed by 45 degrees Celsius in Sukkur, 44 degrees Celsius in Hyderabad, and 39 degrees Celsius in Karachi.

Lahore could see temperatures of 41 degrees Celsius, Peshawar 39 degrees Celsius, and Multan around 43 degrees Celsius, while Quetta is expected to have temperatures near 32 degrees Celsius.

In contrast, light rain is anticipated in some areas of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
