The KP Centre of Excellence, in collaboration with the University of Swat, organized a one-day seminar and a solidarity walk on Tuesday to promote social cohesion and national integration, while strongly condemning the recent APS Khuzdar bus attack.

The event brought together students, faculty members, scholars, and civil society representatives to highlight the critical role of academic institutions in nurturing peace, tolerance, and national harmony.

Speakers at the seminar stressed that it was a moral and national obligation for educational institutions to counter extremist ideologies through dialogue, awareness, and constructive engagement. They called for strengthening societal unity in the face of divisive narratives.

The seminar concluded with a peace walk in solidarity with the victims of the APS Khuzdar bus attack. Participants denounced the violence and demanded action against the perpetrators, referring to them as Fitanat-ul-Khawarij and Fitna-tul-Hindustan.
