Extreme heat continues in Karachi, temperatures expected to rise
Karachi is set to experience severe heat today, with temperatures forecasted to reach 38 degrees Celsius and a heat index that could feel as high as 45 degrees Celsius, according to the Met Office.
The Met Office noted that intense sunlight will prevail throughout the day, while sea breezes will be partially restricted, contributing to increased heat and humidity.
The weather is likely to remain extremely hot and humid over the next 24 hours.
Currently, the temperature in the city stands at 34 degrees Celsius, but the heat index is being felt at 38 degrees Celsius.
Winds are coming from the west at 17 kilometers per hour, with humidity levels recorded at 60%.
