Bangladesh cricket team arrives in Lahore for T20 series against Pakistan
The Bangladesh cricket team’s initial contingent of ten members arrived in Lahore late last night to kick off a three-match T20 series against Pakistan.
This group, which includes players and support staff, will be joined by the remaining team members tonight as they prepare for the series.
The first match is set for May 28 at Gaddafi Stadium, followed by the second match on May 30 and the final encounter on June 1, all at the same venue. Each match will take place in the evening, with Gaddafi Stadium serving as the host for this important series.
In related news, the Government of Pakistan has implemented special security measures for the Bangladesh team by deploying the Pakistan Army and Civil Armed Forces.
Sources indicate that the Ministry of Interior has issued orders based on a federal cabinet decision, allowing the army to oversee security and protection duties under Article 245 of the Constitution, while the Civil Armed Forces will be utilized under the Anti-Terrorism Act of 1997.
