An oil tanker carrying 50,000 liters of crude oil overturned in Landhi Number Four, resulting in a significant spill.

Following the accident, approximately half of the oil spilled onto the road, while the remainder was successfully transferred to another tanker.

The incident was attributed to the driver falling asleep at the wheel. Authorities have arrested the driver and taken him into custody.

The tanker was traveling from Port Qasim to Korangi Crossing when the accident occurred around 5am.

Police and Rangers responded swiftly, sealing off the site and evacuating nearby residents.
