Shaheen, Babar, Rizwan dropped as PCB announces squad for Bangladesh T20I series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member men’s squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, with Salman Ali Agha retained as captain. Pakistani cricketers Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam, and Mohammad Rizwan have not been included in the squad.

Pakistan has made eight changes to its 16-member squad for the upcoming T20 series against Bangladesh, which are as follows:

  • Shaheen Shah Afridi, Babar Azam, Usman Khan, Mohammad Ali, Abbas Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan, dropped from the team.

  • Mohammad Umair, Jahandad Khan, and Sufiyan Muqeem failed to retain their places.

  • Agha Salman will continue as captain, with Shadab Khan serving as vice-captain.

  • Hasan Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, and Naseem Shah, have returned to the team.

  • Hussain Talat, Faheem Ashraf, and Mohammad Wasim Jr. are also part of the selected squad.
