Over 67 women have been implicated in terrorism across seven districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) report.

The CTD reported that they have arrested 49 women terrorists, while four have been killed in operations.

Additionally, more than 14 women terrorists remain at large and are currently wanted by authorities.

However, two years back, CTD arrested from Kohat, a female allegedly involved in extortion cases.

Moreover, CTD reported in the start of 2023 over 337 personnel and civilians were killed in KP.

Also, the CTD in the Punjab province foiled a major terror plot in 2022, by arresting 9 suspected terrorists, including a woman linked with a banned outfit.
