Security forces kill 12 terrorists linked to Indian proxies in KP, Balochistan
Pakistani security forces have successfully eliminated 12 Indian-sponsored terrorists in multiple intelligence-based operations (IBOs) across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
From May 17 to 18, nine terrorists affiliated with the banned outfit Fitna Al Khwarij, an Indian proxy, were killed during operations in Lakki Marwat, Bannu, and North Waziristan.
In Lakki Marwat, five terrorists were killed after security forces launched an IBO based on credible intelligence. A second successful operation in Bannu District resulted in the elimination of two more terrorists.
Meanwhile, in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, a convoy of security forces was ambushed by terrorists. The troops responded effectively, killing two attackers. However, during the intense exchange of fire, two soldiers, Sepoy Farhad Ali Turi, 29, a resident of Kurram District and Lance Naik Sabir Afridi, 32, from Kohat District, embraced martyrdom.

Security forces launched sanitisation operations to ensure the complete elimination of remaining terrorists in the region.
According to an ISPR news release, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in the general area of Gishkur, Awaran District, on the reported presence of Indian-sponsored terrorists.
During the conduct of the operation, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location and after an intense fire exchange, Indian-sponsored terrorist Younas was killed, while two Indian sponsored terrorists were injured.
In another engagement in Turbat City, Kech District, security forces successfully neutralised two Indian-sponsored terrorists: terrorist ring leader Sabr Ullah and terrorist Amjad alias Bichoo.
Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored terrorists, who remained actively involved in multiple terrorist activities against the Law Enforcement Agencies as well as target killing of innocent civilians.
Sanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any terrorists present in the area, as security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts by Indian proxies at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan.
