Four killed, eight injured in blast at market in Qila Abdullah, Balochistan
A powerful explosion rocked the Jabar Market in the Gulistan area of Qila Abdullah district, Balochistan, on Monday, leaving at least four people dead and eight others injured. According to initial reports, several of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
The blast was so intense that multiple shops in the market collapsed, and several vehicles parked nearby were completely destroyed. Eyewitnesses said the explosion was heard from a considerable distance, triggering panic and fear across the locality.
Soon after the incident, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search and clearance operation. The blast site was sealed to secure evidence and ensure safety amid fears of secondary threats.
Rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene and shifted the wounded to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that emergency measures were in place and that several victims were in serious condition.
