Hot, dry weather predicted nationwide
The Meteorological Office has announced that most parts of the country are likely to experience dry and hot weather over the next 24 hours. However, heavy rain and hail are expected in certain areas.
In the federal capital, Islamabad, and nearby regions, rain accompanied by strong winds is anticipated. Additionally, rain and hail are predicted for Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, and Jhelum.
While most areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to remain dry and hot, some locations may experience weather changes.
Severe heat and dry conditions are forecasted for Sindh and Balochistan, whereas light rain is anticipated in parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
The Meteorological Office has urged citizens to exercise caution and avoid unnecessary travel, particularly in areas where hail or heavy rain is expected.

On May 9, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain, hailstorms, and strong winds across various regions of Balochistan. Areas such as Kalat, Sibi, Barkhan, Kohlu, Qila Saifullah, Qilla Abdullah, Nushki, and Musakhel are expected to experience rainfall under partly cloudy skies.
