Murree unveils new traffic plan amid ongoing road repairs
Authorities in Murree have announced a new traffic management plan to address congestion and ensure smooth travel as road repair work gets underway in the popular hill station.
Murree Traffic Police announced on Monday that the highway from Satra Meel Toll Plaza to Bansara Gali has been temporarily closed due to ongoing road repair and carpeting work.
According to a spokesperson, the Highway Department is carrying out maintenance between Chhatar and Salgran, prompting a complete shutdown of the route for all types of vehicles.
In response, officials have advised travelers coming from Islamabad and Rawalpindi to use the Murree Expressway as an alternative route.
Authorities stressed that the closure is necessary to ensure commuter safety and to allow the repair work to be completed efficiently.
Travelers have been urged to plan their trips to avoid any inconvenience or delays.
