Pilgrims from Europe arrive in Saudi Arabia on horseback for Hajj
Four pilgrims have taken a remarkable journey, traveling on horseback from Europe to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
The group three Spaniards and one Moroccan arrived this week at the Al Hadithah border crossing in Al Qurayyat, where they were warmly received by local officials and volunteers inspired by their dedication.
A widely circulated video shows the riders arriving dusty and fatigued, yet determined after weeks of travel toward Islam’s holiest sites.
The head of the Al Hadithah center personally welcomed the pilgrims, extending sincere wishes for a safe and spiritually fulfilling Hajj.

He described their journey as a profound display of faith and perseverance.

Border authorities and support teams conducted medical checkups, offered refreshments, and provided assistance as part of the government’s broader initiative to ensure respectful and efficient services for all pilgrims.

Additionally, the local Development Association of Al Hadithah organized a small celebration in honor of the riders, where volunteers greeted them with flowers, hospitality kits, and warm gestures of welcome.
