Karachi weather update: Thunderstorms expected this evening
Karachi is bracing for thunderstorms accompanied by rain starting this evening, as reported by the Meteorological Department.
A system of western winds is currently affecting the city and is expected to remain in place until May 10.
Deputy Director Anjum Nazir Ziagham announced that three distinct spells of western winds will impact the region, increasing the likelihood of thunderstorms, lightning, and rain across various areas.
The Meteorological Department also noted that sea breezes will begin to return this evening. Temperatures in the city could rise to 37 degrees Celsius in the upcoming days.
