A cracker attack near the railway track in the Malir Alfalah area of Karachi has caused significant concern.

Initial reports indicate that the incident occurred close to a Rangers’ post, heightening the seriousness of the situation.

DIG Karachi, Usman Ghani, confirmed to the media that, fortunately, there were no casualties reported from the attack. Law enforcement agencies promptly responded to the scene and cordoned off the area.

In an effort to advance the investigation, the Crime Scene Unit and Bomb Disposal Squad have been summoned to collect evidence and analyze the explosive materials involved.

SSP Korangi noted that early investigations suggest the Rangers’ post may have been the intended target of the cracker attack, though inquiries are still ongoing.
