Rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, is expected in several areas of the upper regions today.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will experience partly cloudy weather, with rain and possible hail in many districts.

The Meteorological Department has indicated that rain is likely in Peshawar, Mardan, Charsadda, Chitral, Swat, and Dir, as well as thunderstorms in Abbottabad, Kohat, Dera Ismail Khan, and both North and South Waziristan.

In contrast, most areas of Balochistan, including Quetta, will see hot and dry conditions.
