Robbers loot Rs15 million from cattle traders near Karachi

Victims urge authorities to quickly arrest robbers and recover stolen money

A group of robbers has looted Rs15 million in cash from a convoy of cattle traders traveling from Karachi to Mirpur Khas to buy animals for Eid-ul-Azha.

According to sources, the group of 19 to 20 traders had set out from Karachi with cash to purchase livestock.

However, as they reached near Bahria Town on the Super Highway, a suspicious Vigo vehicle followed them.

The victims said that armed men in the vehicle stopped their vehicle at gunpoint and robbed Rs15 million from them.

The police were immediately informed, and an FIR has been registered on the complaint of one of the traders, Farhan Qureshi.

Moreover, the victims have urged the authorities to quickly arrest the robbers and recover the stolen money.

Meanwhile, police had said an investigation was underway as CCTV footage from the area had also been collected to help trace the suspects.
