Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has outlined new guidelines for employees planning to perform Hajj in 2025.

First-time pilgrims will be entitled to 10 to 15 days of paid leave, which includes the days of Eid al-Adha.

The ministry emphasized that employees must have been with their current employer for at least two consecutive years to qualify for this leave. This initiative is designed to safeguard the interests of both employees and employers.

Companies will have the discretion to decide how many employees can take advantage of this leave each year based on their operational needs.

In addition to these guidelines, the Kingdom has also introduced significant heat protection measures for the millions of pilgrims due to anticipated extreme temperatures.
