PM calls urgent CCI meeting to address canal issues at Sindh’s request

In response to a request from the Sindh government, the Prime Minister has scheduled an urgent meeting of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) for today. The meeting will be held this evening in Islamabad.

Initially set for May 2, the meeting was rescheduled to address pressing issues raised by the Sindh government.

Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced to the media that key decisions regarding the canals will be made during this session.

Memon also confirmed that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah will attend the meeting.
