Renowned Indian anchor and YouTuber Dhruv Rathee has taken the Modi government to task over the recent Pahalgam incident, offering a rare voice of reason amid a media landscape dominated by anti-Pakistan rhetoric.

While most Indian anchors react to any mention of Pakistan with frothing anger, abandoning logic and deflecting blame, Dhruv Rathee, known for his research-driven content, used his latest vlog to confront uncomfortable truths.

Rathee called the Pahalgam attack tragic but highlighted the glaring negligence that few in the mainstream media are willing to discuss. He questioned how terrorists managed to infiltrate from Pakistan into heavily militarised Kashmir, despite strict security along the Line of Control.

He also raised critical concerns about the lack of security for tourists in Pahalgam and the unacceptable delays in evacuating the injured after the attack.

In his video, Rathee played old clips of Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticising the Indian government after the 2008 Mumbai attacks, questioning how terrorists could cross into Indian territory—remarks now haunting Modi himself.

Rathee also slammed the Indian media, branding it “Godi Media” for its biased reporting and sensationalism. He specifically called out anchor Arnab Goswami, accusing him of misleading the Indian public and stoking hatred.

This is not the first time Dhruv Rathee has exposed government failures. He had earlier debunked official narratives around the Pulwama attack with fact-based analysis.
