Traffic accident in Karachi claims one life
A tragic traffic accident occurred last night near Ghani Chowrangi in Karachi’s SITE area, where a speeding trailer ran over two motorcyclists. The collision resulted in one fatality and left the other injured.
Rescue sources have identified the deceased as 24-year-old Sameer Alam, a student who was in the SITE area for work. The injured individual, Azhar, is reported to be in stable condition.
Family members revealed that both men were returning from Hub Chowki to the SITE area when the accident occurred. The trailer involved in the incident fled the scene.
So far this year, Karachi has seen 297 fatalities from traffic accidents. Of these, 95 deaths were attributed to heavy traffic, with the majority being men.
