The Pakistan Railways has officially resumed the Khushhal Khan Khattak train service between Karachi and Peshawar after a hiatus of several years.

The train’s arrival at the Larkana railway station was met with enthusiastic celebrations from citizens and railway employees.

The suspension of many train services during the COVID-19 pandemic had left a gap in transportation options.

With the reinstatement of the Khushhal Khan Khattak service, residents of Dadu, Larkana, Shikarpur, Kandhkot, and Kashmore districts will now benefit from improved and more accessible travel to Peshawar.

A significant police presence was observed at the event, ensuring security during the celebrations.
