Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has raised concerns over reports indicating that India is preparing to launch an attack on Pakistan, potentially using the banned Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

He pointed out that India previously faced setbacks in Pulwama and cautioned that a similar scenario could unfold again.

In a recent statement, Khawaja Asif revealed that credible intelligence suggests India is providing weapons and explosives to the TTP to instigate instability within Pakistan.

He highlighted that India is transferring IEDs (improvised explosive devices) and other deadly arms to extremist groups via the Afghan Taliban.

Asif criticized India for repeating its past strategies in the region, asserting that the Modi government is operating with a “Gujarat mindset.”

He reassured that the government is vigilantly monitoring the situation alongside all security agencies, and should India take any provocative steps, Pakistan will respond firmly.
