Karachi heatwave enters fourth day with relief expected tomorrow
The heatwave in Karachi has now reached its fourth day, with the Meteorological Department forecasting a potential decrease in heat intensity starting Thursday.
Currently, the city experiences extremely hot and humid conditions.
The Meteorological Department states that today will remain very hot and dry, with maximum temperatures possibly hitting 41 degrees Celsius.
The current temperature is recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at 54%.
Winds are blowing from the southwest at 11 kilometers per hour, but interruptions in sea breezes throughout the day may exacerbate the heat.
A slight recovery of sea breezes is anticipated this evening, and the heatwave is expected to persist until then.
