PM Shehbaz arrives in Turkiye on two-day visit at President Erdoğan’s invitation
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Ankara on a two-day official visit to Türkiye at the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
According to details, the prime minister was received at Ankara Airport by the Turkish Minister of Defence, along with the Deputy Governor, the President of the Pak-Turk Cultural Association, and other senior officials.
Accompanying Prime Minister Shehbaz on the visit are Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
During his stay, the prime minister will hold in-depth discussions with President Erdoğan on bilateral relations as well as recent developments within the region and beyond.

As longstanding allies and strategic partners, Pakistan and Türkiye maintain a tradition of regular high-level exchanges that reflect the exceptional bond of brotherhood between the two nations.
To facilitate cooperation and coordination on matters of mutual interest, both countries have an institutional mechanism in place in the form of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSCC), which operates at the leadership level.
The 7th session of the HLSCC was held in Islamabad on February 12–13, 2025, co-chaired by President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The upcoming interactions reaffirm the continuity of this strong dialogue and highlight the mutual commitment to further advancing the multidimensional partnership between Pakistan and Türkiye.
