National Stadium Karachi to undergo renovation after PSL X
The National Stadium Karachi is set to kick off its second phase of renovations immediately following the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League Season 10 (PSL X).
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) plans to completely re-profile the stadium’s stands and launch a comprehensive redevelopment project aimed at elevating the venue to international standards.
This initiative responds to a decline in spectator attendance during the HBL PSL 2025 matches, attributed to outdated facilities and a subpar fan experience.
Key upgrades will feature a redesign of seating areas to enhance comfort, space, and sightlines.
The architectural changes are expected to modernize the historic stadium’s appearance.
Entry and exit routes will be restructured to improve crowd flow and safety, while parking facilities will be revamped to address longstanding accessibility issues on match days.
