A female student from Islamic University was shot dead in a private hostel in Islamabad’s Ramna police station area.

The suspect entered the hostel and fired at the student as her other roommates watched in horror.

A case has been registered on behalf of the victim’s sister.

The 22-year-old student was killed in the presence of three roommates.

The Ramna police station has registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.

According to the FIR, an unknown young man entered the hostel at 12:15pm. At 1:30pm, when the victim’s sister stepped out of her room, the suspect forcibly entered and demanded silence from those present before shooting her.
