Excise police breaks up major drug smuggling operation in Peshawar
The Excise Police has successfully disrupted a significant drug smuggling operation in Peshawar. During an operation at H Gol Chowk, authorities recovered a large quantity of drugs from a vehicle.
The confiscated substances included 50,400 grams of hashish and 2,500 grams of ice.
The police apprehended the drug smuggler along with the vehicle involved in the operation.
The suspect has been identified as Zahir Shah, a resident of the Bagban area in Peshawar.
Initial investigations indicate that he was attempting to transport these drugs to Punjab.
