Sindh Chief Minister chaired a meeting of the Polio Task Force, directing all stakeholders to ensure province-wide coordination ahead of the upcoming anti-polio campaign scheduled from April 21 to 27.
During the meeting, the CM emphasised the importance of raising awareness through media, religious scholars, and healthcare experts. “We must protect every child from the polio virus and make Sindh the leader in a polio-free Pakistan,” he stated.
The chief minister instructed officials to build public trust and convince those refusing the vaccine to cooperate. He also directed deputy commissioners to carry out daily field monitoring of the campaign.
Additionally, the CM urged government officers and elected representatives to fully support polio teams, ensure security arrangements, and closely monitor high-risk union councils.
